HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!

Wow, this has been a great year for me, I have learned so much and my family is so happy with me for all the progress I have made in my training.
I have only had my blog for two weeks now and am already making lots of great friends. Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to introduce themselves.
I am really looking forward to this coming new year and all the things I will learn and all the new friends I will continue to make.
I hope all my puppy pals out there get a lovely bone to
chew on or treat to gobble in celebration of our coming new year.
Happy New Year Everybody!

Snow Day

We finally got a heap of snow last night. My humans aren't too thrilled about it but I sure think it's great! And they are doing their best to make the best of it.
My Mom rigged up my harness to Madison's toboggan and I pulled her around in the backyard. This was my first time pulling something in the snow but Mom gave me lots of treats and I did my very best. I must have done pretty good because I sure heard a lot of loud yippee- yahoo's and faster, faster's. It was lots of fun!
After all that fun I had to have a well deserved break with my favorite football.

Happiness is.... A Great New Toy For Christmas

I am such a good boy, waiting for my turn to open my present.
Is it my turn now?
This is so much fun!
I love this new toy! Ropes, squeekers, a giant tennis ball, what more could a boy like me want?
See this white thing from Santa, Mom went to the kitchen to work on breakfast, and when she came back, it was gone.
Shhhh, don't tell anyone, but I thought it was a snack!
Me chillin', what a great day. I love Christmas!

A Proud Moment

So I've been going to classes and working really hard on my leadership training (that's a fancy human term that means that my Mom is the boss, and I don't need to scare away every person or creature that comes near us) and I think I have been doing really good.
Part of that training means I have been working on some better manners when people come to our house.
The other day Madison had one of her friends over to play and I was a really good dog if I do say so myself.
When the people came to the front door I stayed laying in the kitchen like I was told to the whole time. That's 15 minutes folks! The girls came in, started playing, and Mom talked at the door for ages. When she finally came back, there I was, doing exactly what I was told. Awesome right? Well, I can do even better.
After several hours of minding my own business and taking things in stride while the girls played ( and believe me, seven year old girls get a little crazy), it was time for Madison's friend to be picked up.
The doorbell rang and I was told to stay laying in my spot in the kitchen, I did. A whole five minutes I waited patiently, but then, get a load of this... they all came in to the kitchen where I was. Harder still, there was little one year old Emiliegh who is in my opinion just about the funnest person to smell in the whole world. I wanted to go see her so badly, especially since she was crying and I wanted to know why. I even cried a little myself because it was so hard to contain myself, but I did. A whole ten more minutes they stood there, talking right in front of me. Finally they went back to the front door, talked for ages more and then at last the front door closed and all was quiet once again. And guess where I was? You guessed it, right where I was supposed to be. Is there a medal or something for that? I definitely think there should be.
I did get lots and lots of treats though so that was really cool. High five!

How awesome is this!
